Since taking office in 2012, he has held the position of China’s supreme leader, overseeing the nation’s domestic and foreign policies.

Xi’s early life was marked by the tumultuous period of the Cultural Revolution. He was born in Beijing into a family with a strong connection to the Communist Party. His father, Xi Zhongxun, was a prominent party official but faced political purges during that era. Young Xi was relocated to a remote rural area, where he worked as a farmer during this challenging time.

Despite these hardships, Xi Jinping’s commitment to the CCP remained unwavering. Over the years, he climbed the ranks of the party, serving in various regions, including Fujian, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, before eventually assuming the highest positions of power in the country.
